The Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted its 4th Annual Winter Olympics Art Dash on Sunday, March 1st at the Patchogue Family YMCA, and what a fantastic day it was!
With a couple hundred community members walking through the gymnasium throughout the afternoon, the event was packed with energy, friendly competition, and winter-themed fun for the whole family.
From the moment families arrived to pick up their Art Dash T-shirts, the excitement was building. Kids (and parents!) jumped right into interactive activities including:
🏒 Family Hockey
🛷 Laundry Basket Bobsled
❄️ Snowshoe Relay
🏃 Fun Runs
The Fun Run, proudly sponsored by Pura Clean, had participants racing toward the finish line where they were rewarded with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, adding a true Olympic touch to the day.
One of the biggest crowd-pleasers of the event? The highly anticipated Kids vs. Moms Tug-of-War — which had the entire gym cheering. In a spirited showdown, the kids claimed victory, earning bragging rights (at least until next year!).
