On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the Dublin Deck became the ultimate arena for one of Patchogue’s most entertaining community events: the Patchogue Bar Olympics.
Hosted in partnership with LimeWired, the event brought together bartenders from bars and restaurants across Patchogue for an afternoon of friendly competition, live music, and community fundraising. Guests gathered under the palm trees to cheer on their favorite bartenders as they competed for the title of Long Island’s Best Bartender while raising funds to support the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce’s beloved summer festival, Alive After Five.
The atmosphere was electric from start to finish. With LimeWired providing the soundtrack for the day, attendees enjoyed great music, plenty of laughs, and a series of spirited competitions that had the crowd fully engaged. Bartenders put their skills, strategy, and teamwork to the test through classic games like beer pong and flip cup, all while earning votes from spectators hoping to crown their favorite local bartender.
Throughout the afternoon, community members had the opportunity to support their hometown establishments, connect with friends, and celebrate the vibrant hospitality scene that makes Patchogue such a popular destination.
After a day of intense competition and enthusiastic voting, Flynn from Arooga’s emerged victorious, winning over both judges and attendees with his personality, talent, and competitive spirit to earn the title of the community’s favorite bartender.
More than just a competition, the Patchogue Bar Olympics showcased the camaraderie among local businesses and demonstrated the power of community events to bring people together for a great cause. The event’s success will help support future Chamber initiatives, including Alive After Five, which continues to draw thousands of visitors to downtown Patchogue each summer.
Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, and cheered on our local bartenders. We look forward to seeing what next year’s Bar Olympics has in store!
