The Patchogue Arts Council (PAC) and the Museum of Contemporary Art Long Island (MoCA LI) end their 2020 year of Clear Vision programming with New Visions, an uncertain look ahead. Much has happened since the exhibition was first planned over a year ago. Originally intended as a coda to a year of exhibitions stressing the need for clarity of thought, we find ourselves in a time when it is nearly impossible to separate fact from fiction. With an opening date just after the 2020 presidential election and the nation facing an uncertain future, the artists of New Visions do not answer any questions for us but ponder possible futures. New Visions presents four artists, two with international careers and two very active on the local scene.
