Gordon Heights Day
August 10 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
One of Patchogue’s neighboring communities is historic Gordon Heights, which played a vital role in African-American history on Long Island and is connected to the period known as the Harlem Renaissance in the early 20th Century.
The Gordon Heights Children’s Celebration, will be held on Saturday August 10, 2019. This annual affair is an opportunity to reflect and share the rich legacy of our community and a platform used to recognize the youth within who have made a significant impact in the community over the last year.
As a community we are excited about the annual parade, performances, vendor booths and educational and historical programs geared to engage and entertain our diverse community from toddlers to our senior citizens.
