Chili & Chowder Contest Votes are in! And the Winners are…..

This past Saturday Patchogue had an incredibly competitive Chili & Chowder Contest between many of our Patchogue Restaurants as part of our amazing Fall Fest!

We had 12 different Chowders and 14 different Chili’s competing to be the best as voted by patrons of our Fall Festival.

The Results are in!

In the Chowder Contest:
We have a First place tie between That Meetball Place Lobster Corn Chowder & Catch Oyster Bar Lobster Shrimp Corn Chowder with 26 votes each.

Second place was The Cheese Patch The Great Pumpkin Chowder with 22 votes

Third place was The Hero Joint Thanksgiving Chowder with 18 votes

Honorable mentions with Chowder are: Brickhouse Brewery, Arooga’s Sports Bar & Perabell Food Bar, who were only a few votes shy of placing in this category

In the Chili Contest:

Once again, First Place goes to Brickhouse Brewery Signature Chili with 22 votes.

In Second place we had a three-way tie between: That Meetball Place Short Rib and Poblano Chili, Toast Coffeehouse Short Rib Chili with Fritos and Whiskey Neat House Recipe Chili with special burger blend….each getting 18 votes

Third Place was Daisy’s Nashville Lounge Special Nashville Chili with 14 votes.

Honorable mentions with Chili go to: Del Fuego, Donatina Pizza, James Joyce & Village Idiot Pub, who each received 13 votes in this category.

We had about 300 votes in each category and every entry received multiple votes, making it a very competitive contest across the board.

The Chamber is so proud we have so many amazing restaurants and we are grateful for all those who participated and provided top notch entries!

Congrats to the winners and thank you to all the participating Restaurants, they all provided excellent Chili & Chowders they should be proud of!
