South Ocean’s Wellness Club is sponsoring a Pennies for Patients fundraiser this month! All money raised will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for cancer research. For the event, the club has made it a friendly competition between the morning meeting classes, which ever morning meeting class that raises the most money by March 20th will earn a Dunkin’ Donuts breakfast!

Live Edition: The Diary of Anne Frank
Friday March 13 at 8pm and Saturday March 14th at 2 or 8pm
The story about a young Jewish girl in hiding, being perused by Nazi soldiers is a compelling and inspirational story of Anne Frank, one that we hold dear to our hearts. Written by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett allowed their adaptation to beautifully capture the life of the young girl.
Today, the story continues to be told in a whole new way. The Patchogue Theatre’s educational program invites schools across the island to watch the performance. By performing the material, more students will know Anne Franks story, keeping her alive in a memorable way. Different grade levels will have the chance to experience something that could result in a great educational opportunity.
Special guest, Werner Reich will also speak about his incredible escape from Nazi soldiers after being detained and beaten for several weeks.
