Inharmony Toast-Giving Free Thanksgiving Dinner for those in Need.

Harmony Cafe and Toast Coffeehouse is hosting their 4th annual free thanksgiving dinner on 11/22/22 at the Toast Coffeehouse in Patchogue with live music featuring John Sparling and Anthony Pravata from the Om-en Duet. The menu will include traditional Thanksgiving dishes along with Thanksgiving pies for dessert. This event will be remembered by our guests as a joyful Thanksgiving dinner spend with their family and friends with no worries about paying for a meal. We believe that is the way it should be! If a person isn’t able to attend because of health reasons, they can request a takeout meal, it is one meal per person. The event is for those that need a meal for the thanksgiving holiday.

WE ARE REQUESTING HELP FROM BUSINESSES AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS.

We do predict a greater need this year and the cost to host this event has increases. Last year, we served over 300 meals during the Covid-Pandemic. We have full confidence that it will be another huge success. The situation this year has only been complicated by the rate of inflation, which is at a 40-year high. The lower your income, the larger proportion of it is spent on essentials. With electricity up more than a half, and food up over 14%

Harmony Cafe hopes that with your help, we can avoid a situation where a family must choose between eating a holiday meal or paying their utility bill. With the unwavering commitment from community members like you, volunteering and generously donating, we can ensure our dinner guests never have to make that choice and we’re so grateful to have your support. If we have any surplus funds, it will be used to fund our mission during the next year.
