The Greater
Patchogue Chamber of Commerce Annual Installation Dinner Dance, was
held at the Mediterranean Manor, the honoree this year was Ralph Zegel the Heart
& "Sole" of Patchogue, guests enjoyed music by "Naked Truth" a 10 piece band, a
wonderful cocktail hour, dinner and program featuring Patchogue business owners,
government officials
and community members. The new executive board of the Greater Patchogue Chamber of
Commerce is as follows; President JP Brown of Rogers Travel, 1st VP Mindy Skura

Long Island Music
Hall of Fame Inaugural Induction Gala was held at the Patchogue
Theatre for the Performing Arts. The red carpet was rolled out,
a VIP tent the size of the theater was erected and the town was
ready for such talents as Peter Criss from KISS, Billy Joel, and

Patchogue Garden
Club Celebrates the Community Garden Expansion - The Village of
Patchogue has expanded the Community Garden on South Ocean Avenue
and Terry Street an additional 40 feet. Hardscaping is in place, and
soon a large urn, benches, lighting and plantings will be included.
Proclamation were given the Patchogue Garden Club for their hard
work and a reception followed in the Patchogue Theatre lobby.

The
Patchogue Memorial Day Parade began
at 11 am sharp with lines of marchers assembling
from West Main Street north along 112. The parade
route made its way through Patchogue town proper
[Veteran Blvd] to corner South Ocean Avenue. Then
down to Baker Street where you will find the
Patchogue American Legion Post 269 and the NEWLY
dedicated "Patchogue Village - Veterans
Memorial Park". After all the marchers had past the
podium, a large group of community members,
students, town officials and veterans paid homage to
our brave men and women who have fought and died for
our county and our freedom. |

Patchogue Garden Club's Plant and Yard Sale
was a great success, it was held in the Community
Garden on Terry Street and South Ocean Avenue.
Hard-working volunteers presented an abundance
of treasures to sell along with plants of many
varieties. The club is celebrating 10 years of
service and beautification, please take five minutes
to stroll through the garden and enjoy their handy
work.
Keep an eye as the garden grows in size this summer

exciting and wonderful. The rooms were
filled with caring community members,

Ferb and Paula Murphy, Beautification
Committee Members chose the winner of the wheel barrel of
cheer and 50/50. |
